Keely is a graduate of the Florida School of Massage and a lifelong student of anatomy. He began pursuing bodywork in 2011 as a result of his personal experiences with disability, surgery, and chronic pain.
He specializes in neuromuscular trigger point and myofascial deep tissue therapy. Keely brings an ease and empathy into his sessions as he strives to offer a truly client-oriented, trauma-informed therapeutic experience.
In addition to being an LMT, Keely is an artist, and he has combined his medical and fine arts background in order to run Anatomy for Artists workshops online and at Sante Fe Community College. He has also run a community workshop series on self-massage techniques at Gainesville’s Civic Media Center.
His primary goals – be it in session with an individual client or in a classroom setting –are to empower individuals with the knowledge they need to manage their pain patterns, recover from and prevent new injuries, establish healthy boundaries, and befriend their bodies.
You can find Keely at The Dasha Collective, a multifaceted community space for healing, art, and music.

About Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger point therapy is a soft-tissue modality that aims to interrupt neuromuscular feedback loops resulting in "knots" within muscle. These knots, or trigger points, can arise through injury or overuse, and can cause loss of mobility and pain, both locally as well as referring pain to other areas of the body.
If you have ever massaged a sore spot and gotten no relief, it is possible that a sneaky trigger point is the cause!
Trigger point therapy can be uncomfortable, as the trigger points themselves are tender to the touch, but relief can be fairly immediate. This style of work is done slowly and deliberately, sinking into the knots until they release. Due to the slow nature of the work, it is a safe way to address pain without overloading the body.
